Utpal Dutta (President and CEO)

Utpal Dutta is the founder of Servitium USA Inc, a Jacksonville based corporation with operations in Florida. Servitium also has a wholly-owned subsidiary in New Delhi, India.

Utpal has over 17 years of experience in management, system implementation, partnership management, corporate sales, marketing, customer service, and technical assessments. His most recent experience has been in outsourcing of all major financial and IT processes by utilizing labor arbitrage which exists between the USA and India. He has established and developed successful partnerships with Fortune 50 Companies.

Utpal graduated from Purdue University, USA with a B.S in Computer Science.
He subsequently completed his Masters degree from Purdue in Information Science and Technology and also taught for a brief period in the Computer Technology Department.

Prior to starting Servitium USA, Utpal has:

• Worked on offshore financial processing for a large public companyin the US where he managed and operated an offshore processing center
• Served on a Public Board
• Instituted Sarbanes Oxley compliance
• Served as a Vice President / Business Development in the IT arena where he worked with multi-million dollar application development and Customer Relationship Management deployments
• Worked with companies like Cambridge Technology Partners
• Consulted for corporate audiences in Automated Data Capture Technologies

Utpal is a member of the Board for FMSDC. He is also the Chairperson for the First Coast Chapter of FMSDC.

Viplav Baxi - Vice President – Operations & Innovations

The development centre is led by Viplav Baxi (Vice President). Viplav has been responsible for creating software applications, eLearning tools and infrastructure applications for the major part of his career. He was earlier the Chief Technology Officer at eGurucool.com, India’s largest eLearning online initiative focused on the K – 12 segments and was among the earliest demonstrators of eLearning technology in India. He was also the CTO at LIQVID, an eLearning company based out of India where he was responsible for key Fortune 500 accounts and Director, Technology, at Argusoft, a software development company based out of India.
 
A solutions architect and system integration expert, he has designed technical architecture for Enterprise applications, Content Management Systems, Learning Management Systems and Content Syndication Systems. He has expertise in emerging e-Learning standards like SCORM and AICC. Viplav has hands-on expertise in a host of tools and technologies ranging across the spectrum of programming languages, middleware, relational database management systems and ERP Systems.

Rohit D’Silva – Vice President – Business Development

Rohit has over 18 years of industry experience working in India, USA and Canada in multiple functions – Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Purchase, Projects, and Systems.

He led IT business development efforts for the Mahindra Group in the US and spearheaded multiple capability initiatives in SAP and Siebel over a 4 year period.

At Eicher, where he worked for 8 years, he drove extraordinary sales growth in Northern India, helped set up a key manufacturing facility, and put together a collaboration agreement between Eicher and the Finland based SISU group.

He was Sales Director – North America at LIQVID, an eLearning company based out of India where he was responsible for key Fortune 500 accounts.

He was also managing partner of Krisun LLC. a company he co founded with Joseph Fernandes, an ex McKinsey Consultant.

Rohit is an engineering graduate from India’s National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, an MBA and a certified CRM Siebel and ERP SAP consultant.
